Pink Promise 2024 Results

The third edition of the unique women’s sport fishing tournament, “Pink Promise 2024,” was a great success in supporting the fight against cancer in women. Held May 3 and 4, 2024, in Loreto, B.C.S., it brought together 276 women anglers with 333,150 Pesos, the largest amount raised in the event’s history.  

 “Pink Promise” attracted the participation of 72 women teams supporting the fight against cancer in women with donations to the Onco Loreto Foundation.

Triumphing in the “Pink Promise 2024 Tournament, “Team Perlas del Cortez” took First Place with the 40.06-pound yellowtail caught by lady angler, “Ramona Talamantes Fuerte,” earning her team 100,000 pesos and the total accumulated jackpots, of which 15% was donated to Onco Loreto, in addition to the total cost of registration.

Second Place and a prize of 60,000 pesos went to the "Papis and Girls Team"  with a 36.94-pound yellowtail by lady angler, "Lourdes Joseline Espinoza." Third Place and the prize of 30,000 Pesos went to the "Calafias Team" for the catch of 36.32-pound yellowtail by Allison Abril Esquivel, and Fourth Place and a prize of 10,000 pesos for the "Cordelias group" for the catch of 36.06 pound-yellowtail by Yaniccia Cota González.

In total, 56 of the 72 participating teams who presented their catch at the scale of the “Pink Promise Tournament” established themselves as unique women anglers in this fishing tournament, as it is a competition where the enthusiasm of the women helps this noble social cause and is reflected in the high level of participation in the first-class fishing in the waters surrounding Loreto, B.C.S.
